Voices for Hospices is the world’s largest musical global event that gives local hospices the opportunity to raise funds, awareness and practical support within their own communities. The concert line-up includes: RyanDan, Ann Vriend, Mattierin Irish Dancers & Wajjo Drummers, Lindsey Walker, and Pro Coro Canada, Alberta’s Professional Choir.

Brothers Ryan and Dan Kowarsky are back with “Silence Speaks”, the follow up to their highly successful and internationally acclaimed self-titled debut. The evening will also feature its signature Art silent auction which will showcase works from many local talented artists. Many of these artists have supported Pilgrims Hospice over the years including this event. Concert goers will enjoy the sounds of the John Boyd Dixieland Band in the main foyer of the Winspear.

As a non-profit society, Pilgrims Hospice provides many forms of support to people living with a life-threatening disease. It also helps family caregivers and loved ones when a death occurs. Richmond Hill Shows Postponed

Unfortunately, tonight and tomorrow's shows at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts in Ontario are being postponed due to illness. Ryan has severe laryngitis. Last night and again this morning he was seen by an ENT specialist and he has not responded to treatment in time.

It is with regret that we've taken the decision to cancel both shows. We are in the process of rescheduling both these shows for later in the year. All queries regarding tickets, should be referred to the venue or the outlet where the ticket was originally purchases, who will deal with that matter. Ryan, Dan and their management apologise for any inconvenience caused in this unavoidable situation.

We are very, very excited to tell you all that the name of our next album has been decided. Our second studio album, which will be released in a few months time, will officially be called ‘Silence Speaks’.

Cancelled Shows

"Unfortunately, the October 31st and November 1st, 2008 dates at the brand new building in Richmond Hill, Ontario have had to be postponed. The reason is that the building is not completed yet and due to unforeseen construction delays, they don't anticipate it to be completed until February of 2009. So it is not only our shows but all events booked at the venue from November '08 through February '09 that are being moved. We are currently looking to rescheduling the dates for March 2009 and our management are working flat out to secure these new dates. As soon as we have them booked we will let you know and we will have them reposted on the website. We are really sorry about this but it's one of those things that are out of our control. The first show was sold out, so it's regrettable to say the least. The good news for those wanting to book tickets for the rescheduled dates is that these shows in March 2009 will be one of the first opportunities to hear songs from our brand new album. Forum changes

On Monday 9th June we will be switching to a new forum. There will be a link to the old forum, but in terms of posting it will become locked and changed to view-only status.

Why move to a new forum? In the past we have used a variety of free forum programs, which have shown themselves to be slow, difficult to maintain, and vulnerable to security and privacy attacks.

We are now migrating our priority Universal Music artist forums to a powerful, professional centralised system. This secure new system enables us to give more fans access to forums than was possible before at busy times.
It is also much more than just a forum system - watch out for extra features in the future such as blogging, galleries and media players!!

Happy New Year to all! RyanDan have been nominated for Best Mainstream Act with their song "The Face" for the 2008 Canadian Music Awards!

Presented by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB), the 11th Annual Canadian Radio Music Awards will be presented on Friday, March 7th at 12:30 pm at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto, as part of the Rogers MusicStore Canadian Music Week celebrations.

At this year’s ceremony, Alanis Morissette will be given a Lifetime Achievement Award to commemorate her induction into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame.

Identical twin brothers Ryan and Dan Kowarsky have now released their second British single from their debut self-titled album. Written by folk legend Judie Tzuke, High is a triumphant celebration of positivity and hope, performed with passion and power by the Canadian duo. O Holy Night is also available to buy - The perfect Christmas gift!

RyanDan’s introduction to Britain has been meteoric. Unknown just months ago, a flurry of TV performances, support throughout the press and radio and a run of impressive and high-profile concerts attracted a devoted following and led to their album charting at number 7, selling more copies in its first week than international stars Phil Collins and KT Tunstall and becoming the first debut album by a pair of identical twins to chart in the top 10.

Internationally the story continues – the guys first performance in Australia was at the impressive Sydney Opera House and the album is flying high at number 4 in Hong Kong and number 9 in their native Canada respectivly.
